What do Senator Jon Ossoff and solar panels have in common? According to The Hill, the senator "introduced legislation that would grant tax credits for solar energy manufacturers at all stages of the supply chain." It's been reported that Ossoff did, in fact, call solar energy "essential" when it comes to making the United States "internationally competitive to renewable energy."

Q cells facility, located in Georgia, is the largest solar panel manufacturing plant and will be the hub of a new clean energy push. The Hill also states that Ossoff said, "This legislation will bring more clean energy jobs to Georgia while creating tens of thousands of clean energy jobs across" the United States.
The goal with the proposed campaign is to keep the US independent when it comes to clean energy, as it goes head to head with other foreign manufacturers, such as what is happening in China.
Ossoff would like this solar energy kickoff to happen as soon as possible, and accelerate the solar energy boom in our country.
